Verified Purchase. This has to be the lowest quality printing that I've ever paid money for. What did Pearson do? Even some of the chapters are in the wrong order! Each page has two page numbers, and depending on the chapter, they can be different by up to pages. It's not even clear which set of numbers the index refers to. The book itself is a very good book for self-learning of optics, it contains thorough and wordy descriptions and walks the reader through several important derivations, usually with enough intermediate steps to follow and replicate or at least understand the idea.
